Bridges, BTC, an East Florida non-profit serving the disability community for more than 60 years, is seeking a personable, resourceful companion (Community Support Specialist- CSS) to support a veteran living in Ashtabula, OH.
The ideal candidate would possess excellent verbal skills, patience and an ability to plan a schedule of creative activities mainly in the veteran's home and the community.
Military experience is a bonus but not required, provides transportation support to appointments, does not always need to be the driver but provide directional support, as well as help running errands and completing household tasks.
Other requirements include detailed written documentation of activities, monthly submission of detailed reports and an ability to work independently.
Must be able to work efficiently in a remote environment from a home office set up.
Part time, generally up to 2-5 hours per session but subject to change, up to 65 hours per month available.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
